Introduction to Managed Detection & Response (MDR)

ArmourZero's dedicated Managed Detection & Response (MDR) security analyst team provide real-time protection for your business. They actively monitor your IT network to detect and prevent threats, and if an attack is detected, they isolate infected computers. MDR service is included only in ShieldOne subscription. You can access our MDR services anytime, anywhere using our in-app SOC (MDR) Ticket feature or via our mobile app.

How to submit new MDR ticket

MDR ticketing facilitates two-way communication, allowing all parties to engage. Our Security Analysts can reach out to you for any cybersecurity matters or you can reach out to them as well.

 

ArmourZero web console

1. Login to ArmourZero console.

2. Go to “MDR 24/7” under ASSIST HUB section. 

3. Click “Add New Ticket”.

4. Fill in the new ticket request details starting with a title.

5. Select your ticket request type.

Exclusion list

Specify the objects/domains to be skipped by the service

Rules and policy

A rule or policy sets the standards of behavior for activities 

Configuration

Any configurations for an information system to enable security and managing risk

Software version upgrade

Any service version upgrade

Others

Any others matter such as billing, accounts

6.  Elaborate your request to the MDR team. Add attachment if needed.

 

ArmourZero mobile app

1. Login to your ArmourZero Mobile Apps.

2. Click on the + icon on the top side of your mobile or tablet device screen.

3. You will be pop up to page "Submit a new SOC (MDR) Ticket".

4. Select your ticket request type.

5. Fill in the new ticket "Title" and "Description".

6. Click "Create New Ticket" to submit this new SOC (MDR) ticket.

Once the ticket is successfully submitted, ArmourZero MDR 24/7 Security Analyst team will receive your ticket and respond accordingly.

Monitor you MDR ticket

Once you've submitted your request, you can track its progress from your account. You'll find updates and responses from the ArmourZero team on the MDR 24/7 page.

 

ArmourZero web console

1. Go to “MDR 24/7” under ASSIST HUB section.

2. View all your ticket status in a list.

3. Click on your ticket to view the details or communicate with our Security Analysts.

ArmourZero mobile app

Once you log in to the ArmourZero Mobile Apps, you will see the list of tickets. The ticket list view displays by ticket type. You can sort it accordingly.

Installing the ArmourZero Mobile Apps

ArmourZero Mobile Apps is an application for you to create, receive and view MDR Ticket from your mobile device or tablet. It’s designed to let you quickly respond and work with all your tickets and security matters, eliminate the delay through emails response and other inefficient method.

 

You can download the ArmourZero Mobile App from your mobile app store: 

 

For iOS users

1. Open App Store on your iOS device.

2. Click on search and type in the search bar "ArmourZero".

3. Identify the icon as per below to ensure you download the correct app.

4. Tap on the "Get" icon to begin to authenticate and download.

5. Once installing is successfully completed, tap "Open" to access the app.

For Android users

1. Go to Play Store on your Android device

2. Tap on Search bar and type "ArmourZero"

3. Identify the ArmourZero icon as per below to ensure you download the correct app

4. Tap on the "Install" button and wait until the installing is finish

5. Once installing is successfully completed, tap "Open" to access the app

Notes: It is recommended to enable automatic updates for the ArmourZero Mobile Apps, so you will be able to receive the latest feature updates.

Logging in to Mobile Apps

The ArmourZero Mobile Apps lets you response or create new ticket quickly, on the go, through your mobile device or tablet.

 

Logging in

You can login to ArmourZero mobile app using your email address and password.

Forget password

In case you forget the password for your ArmourZero account, please click on "Forget Password?" below the password text box. Enter your email address and we will send you the instructions to reset your password.

 

Notes:

Resetting your account password from mobile app will be applied to your password in ArmourZero console as well.

If that email address is associated with a user profile in that ArmourZero account, you will receive the password reset from your email.

Notification and settings in Mobile Apps

You could receive instant notification in ArmourZero's Mobile app whenever a SOC (MDR) ticket responded.

 

Notification

The Notification screen displays any recent ticket alerts you've received, and indicates how many new notification are on the list:

  • When new ticket are created.
  • New responses to your tickets.
  • Status update on your tickets.

To open the Notification screen, both iOS and Android users can tap the "bell" icon in the upper right corner.

On this screen, you can:

  • View all ticket notifications received.
  • Tap notification to view the associated ticket.
  • Mark notification as read.

Settings

The Settings screen lets you configure the basic setting in your mobile device or tablet. Both iOS and Android users will have similar settings screen. To access Settings, go to the "gear" icon on the upper right side of your screen.

On this screen, you can:

  • Change password.
  • Enable dark mode.
  • Go through ArmourZero's privacy policy.
  • Log out ArmourZero Mobile Apps.
